If I will ask anyone about importance of water, most of us have plenty of plus-points to tell about water. But do we really drink sufficient amount of water? Not really. Intake of water depends on individual to individual but still; a person should take 104 ounces or at least 3 liters of water every day. Water requirement will increase due to climatic condition or with exercise.
You think, sing, hear and even laugh just because of water. SURPRISED!! It’s true. Let’s put some spotlight on aspects which can fuel up your affinity for water and can convert it into habit.
·         Make water tasty: If you find it boring to drink water every time, give it a flavor of fruits and vegetables. Have you tried mint flavor in water? If not then try it, you will start loving water. Take juices in diluted form; give an appealing form to your water with berries or cucumber.



      Make water bottle your buddy: Add one more name in your best friend list. It’s your water bottle. Carry it everywhere you go. Instead of gulping large quantity of water at one go, you can sip it gradually. This idea may seem to be old, but it still works. Try it!

      Play with temperature: Try taking water at various temperatures and see which one is your preference. If you like hot tea, coffee, warm water may become your first choice. Likewise, you can take cold water if you like cold drinks.

       Mark water bottle with time-oriented goals: Setup goals and follow it without any excuse. Get a marker and decide how much water you will drink in an hour. This trick will definitely help you in knowing your water intake in a day and will accelerate your drinking habit.
      Set timer: You might have a habit of setting alarm for your important daily works. Follow the same with water. Make your mobile buzz after every hour which will be a reminder for you to drink water.

      Eat water: There are ample numbers of fruits which contain water. Obviously, they are not going to replace natural water, but to some extent they can keep you hydrated. Prefer fruits in place of chips and other unhealthy foods. Fruits like Apricots, Grapes, Strawberries, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Cauliflower, and Lettuce are rich source of juices.


      If you drink too much of coffee or tea, make a habit of drinking water after them every time.
