Workout at Workplace
Most of your time goes at workplace, isn’t it true? Working on computer, attending meetings and continuous sitting on a desk is what we do every day. If I say steal some time for exercise, your answer may be ‘Not Possible’. What can be the solution for this? Make your workplace a workout place. SURPRISED!! Yes it is possible.
There are few tips, which I am going to share with you, for keeping your body fit and toned. And of course it will make your 9 to 5 job more interesting.
Hands and Arms Movements
Move shoulders towards your ears and take rest when you feel uncomfortable. While sitting on your desk, stretch your wrist and legs. You can lift filled water bottle several times while sitting on the desk. Try to touch your foot while sitting on a chair. Stretch fingers, hand muscles, and wrist. Rotate your neck which will stretch nerves and bones.






Foot Exercises
While sitting on office chair, lift your foot and keep toe attached with the ground. Repeat it many times, it will stretch you limb bone. Take help of any horizontal balance like desk and raise your toe, perform it several times. Try all these step whenever you get time in office.
You may not get time in your busy life to walk, hence walk in office. Whenever you are getting chance to walk, walk with a certain speed. But yes, don’t run.


Avoid Elevator
Elevator is your biggest enemy, if you want to remain fit. Say No to shortcuts and choose staircase in office. Reach 5 minutes early in office and spend that time in climbing stairs. Climbing stairs helps us in lifting our own weight, which reduces obesity and fuels up fitness. Every time if the lift button seems to be quite tempting to you, think about the toning of your body which you wish to have.
Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy
I know that crispy and tempting snacks are your weakness, but don’t pick them. You may think that eating small amount will not make any difference. But taking small quantity of junk food every day matters a lot. Avoid oily and sugary food for some days and see the difference in your body.
Also try to remain stress free, as we used to eat a lot in stressful situation.
Never getting time to exercise? Make your workplace a fitness center in your break time. These small changes in your lifestyle will have a greater effect in long run.
